Perfect World Books

What in the world is going on? Severe weather, economic collapse, wars, corruption, factionalism. Does all this fit prophecies of the ancient Maya and Anasazi? This site relates to my books, "In Search of a Perfect World" and "Fulfillment - It's All About Power." To make sense of the world today, you must read these books.

About Me

Name: Michael C. Sullivan
Location: Shambhala, The West, United States

I am a writer and journalist and have been employed with daily and weekly newspapers in several states and have published three quarterly magazines. I'm also a lifelong student of human behavior. The widespread angst leading up to Jan. 1, 2000, inspired me to research the phenomenon of millennialism. The research led to my first book -- "In Search of a Perfect World", which looks back at thousands of years of movements that attempted to "improve" the world, explains why they failed, and looks at today's world in that light. First published in early 1999, it was updated and republished in 2005 to offer a perspective on post-9/11 events. My new book is a novel, entitled "Fulfillment," which uses Mayan prophecy as a tool for understanding where we came from, why we are here and where we are going. The e-book version of the novel is available online here. "In Search of a Perfect World can be ordered through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, AuthorHouse and others.
